The Online Keepsack is proud to announce this tremendous opportunity for 2 U.S. carp anglers to fly to France, recieve V.I.P. treatment and attend the world renown World Carp Classic. 
 
The biggest and most prestigious tournament in the history of carp angling takes place
this year on the magnificent Lac de Madine, Meuse, where the atmosphere will be
absolutely electric.

 The World Carp Classic is celebrating its 10th year and wants you to be a part of it.

 This years World Carp Classic will have anglers traveling from over twenty different countries
 for the chance of winning 1st place at whats considered to be the Olympics of carp events.

 The team selected to represent the U.S. at the World Carp Classic will recieve:   

      A round trip plane ticket from the United States to Paris.($2000 u.s.)
     (Arrival: September 29 / Departure: September 8)
 
      Paid World Carp Classic entry fee($1679.26 u.s.)
     
       A chance of winning an estimated $20,000 and prizes

      JRC will supply a full range of equipment necessary to compete in the event.
        This includes rods, reels, line, weights, hooks, bait, bed chairs, bivey etc

      Arrangements for a pick up and drop off at Verdun or the nearest railway station.
        ARRIVAL:  Paris to Verdun Train August 29, 2008
        DEPARTURE:  Verdun to Paris Train September 8, 2008
        Check Train Fares/Schedule

      Paris to Verdun Map = 3hr(260km / 162 miles)
      U.S. anglers will get picked up at Verdun and transported to the event(Lac de Madine)
      Verdun to Lac de Madine Map = 1 hr drive (49km / 30 miles)
        
      Onsite accommodation provided for the night prior to the event and night after the event.

      World Carp Classic staff/coordinators will liaise with the regional authorities to inform them        that there will be USA representation in the event so that a VIP visit to        the American Montsec Memorial and local area is provided.

       A 3-day festival celebrating the 10th year anniversary of the World Carp Classic

      The USA flag will be flown at the event as part of the official opening ceremony

      TV Interviews will be conducted

 Total cost of a raffle ticket is $200 USD for each 2 person team.($100 per angler)  

If necessary: After June 10, 2008 the remaining raffle tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
(Buying more than 1 raffle ticket would certainly increase your odds of winning)
 
A park ranger in full uniform from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will be present to witness and draw the winning team from an actual KEEPSACK.

 The Drawing will take place on June 16,  2008 at 8:00pm eastern U.S. time.
